Alex Kaplan is a very efficient, easy-to-work-with media professional with a sunny personality and deep knowledge and experience in photography. He worked on my award-winning short film entitled: Class “M” in NYC as the senior movie stills photographer (see – www.Youtube.com/watch?v=ZKH9_bXxND4). The film won three awards at the NYC Film Race including the “Audience Award” thanks to Alex’s input and dedication on all the visuals. For any filmmaker or movie studio looking for a great on-set photographer, Alex is really the “must-have photographer in NYC.”
His work is very creative and we regularly received our on-set images in a timely, very professional manner. He also shot the “official movie posters” for our award-winning film that was part of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival in France. I will always continue to hire him in the future as his projects rates were reasonable and the work was truly exceptional. As an experienced film director/producer, finding superior talent in this business is sometimes challenging and Alex is a very, very rare find. It is a pleasure to recommend him highly and truly enjoy having him on set during the challenges and pressures of award-winning movie-making in the metro NYC area.
